| In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful | بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ | |
| 75:1 | I swear by the Day of Resurrection. | لَا أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ الْقِيَمَةِ |
| 75:2 | And I swear by the blaming soul. | وَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِالنَّفْسِ اللَّوَّامَةِ |
| 75:3 | Does the human being think that we will not reconstruct his bones? | أَيَحْسَبُ الْإِنسَنُ أَلَّنْ نَجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُ |
| 75:4 | Yes indeed; we are able to reconstruct his finger tip. | بَلَى قَدِرِينَ عَلَى أَنْ نُسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُ |
| 75:5 | But the human being tends to believe only what he sees in front of him. | بَلْ يُرِيدُ الْإِنسَنُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُ |
| 75:6 | He doubts the Day of Resurrection! | يَسْءلُ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَمَةِ |
| 75:7 | Once the vision is sharpened. | فَإِذَا بَرِقَ الْبَصَرُ |
| 75:8 | And the moon is eclipsed. | وَخَسَفَ الْقَمَرُ |
| 75:9 | And the sun and the moon crash into one another. | وَجُمِعَ الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ |
| 75:10 | The human being will say on that day, "Where is the escape?" | يَقُولُ الْإِنسَنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْنَ الْمَفَرُّ |
| 75:11 | Absolutely, there is no escape. | كَلَّا لَا وَزَرَ |
| 75:12 | To your Lord, on that day, is the final destiny. | إِلَى رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْمُسْتَقَرُّ |
| 75:13 | The human being will be informed, on that day, of everything he did to advance himself, and everything he did to regress himself. | يُنَبَّؤا الْإِنسَنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ |
| 75:14 | The human being will be his own judge. | بَلْ الْإِنسَنُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ بَصِيرَةٌ |
| 75:15 | No excuses will be accepted. | وَلَوْ أَلْقَى مَعَاذِيرَهُ |
| 75:16 | Muhammad Forbidden From Explaining the Quran
Do not move your tongue to hasten it. |
لَا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِ |
| 75:17 | It is we who will collect it into Quran. | إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُ وَقُرْءانَهُ |
| 75:18 | Once we recite it, you shall follow such a Quran. | فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَهُ فَاتَّبِعْ قُرْءانَهُ |
| 75:19 | Then it is we who will explain it. | ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُ |
| 75:20 | Indeed, you love this fleeting life. | كَلَّا بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ الْعَاجِلَةَ |
| 75:21 | While disregarding the Hereafter. | وَتَذَرُونَ الْاءخِرَةَ |
| 75:22 | Some faces, on that day, will be happy. | وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَاضِرَةٌ |
| 75:23 | Looking at their Lord. | إِلَى رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌ |
| 75:24 | Other faces will be, on that day, miserable. | وَوُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ بَاسِرَةٌ |
| 75:25 | Expecting the worst. | تَظُنُّ أَنْ يُفْعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٌ |
| 75:26 | Indeed, when (the soul) reaches the throat. | كَلَّا إِذَا بَلَغَتْ التَّرَاقِي |
| 75:27 | And it is ordered: "Let go!" | وَقِيلَ مَنْ رَاقٍ |
| 75:28 | He knows it is the end. | وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ الْفِرَاقُ |
| 75:29 | Each leg will lay motionless next to the other leg. | وَالْتَفَّتْ السَّاقُ بِالسَّاقِ |
| 75:30 | To your Lord, on that day, is the summoning. | إِلَى رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْمَسَاقُ |
| 75:31 | For he observed neither the charity, nor the contact prayers (Salat). | فَلَا صَدَّقَ وَلَا صَلَّى |
| 75:32 | But he disbelieved and turned away. | وَلَكِنْ كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّى |
| 75:33 | With his family, he acted arrogantly. | ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ يَتَمَطَّى |
| 75:34 | You have deserved this. | أَوْلَى لَكَ فَأَوْلَى |
| 75:35 | Indeed, you have deserved this. | ثُمَّ أَوْلَى لَكَ فَأَوْلَى |
| 75:36 | Does the human being think that he will go to nothing? | أَيَحْسَبُ الْإِنسَنُ أَنْ يُتْرَكَ سُدًى |
| 75:37 | Was he not a drop of ejected semen? | أَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةً منْ مَنِيٍّ يُمْنَى |
| 75:38 | Then He created an embryo out of it! | ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّى |
| 75:39 | He made it into male or female! | فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ الزَّوْجَيْنِ الذَّكَرَ وَالْأُنثَى |
| 75:40 | Is He then unable to revive the dead? | أَلَيْسَ ذَلِكَ بِقَدِرٍ عَلَى أَنْ يُحْيِيَ الْمَوْتَى |
