| In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful | بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ | |
| 107:1 | Do you know who really rejects the faith? | ارءيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ |
| 107:2 | That is the one who mistreats the orphans. | فَذَلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ |
| 107:3 | And does not advocate the feeding of the poor. | وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَى طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ |
| 107:4 | And woe to those who observe the contact prayers (Salat) - | فَوَيْلٌ لِلْمُصَلِّينَ |
| 107:5 | who are totally heedless of their prayers. | الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ |
| 107:6 | They only show off. | الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاءُونَ |
| 107:7 | And they forbid charity. | وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ |
